Recent advances in deep learning have enabled highly accurate six-degree-of-freedom (6DoF) object pose estimation, leading to its widespread use in real-world applications such as robotics, augmented reality, virtual reality, and autonomous systems. However, backdoor attacks pose a major security risk to deep learning models. By injecting malicious triggers into training data, an attacker can cause a model to perform normally on benign inputs but behave incorrectly under specific conditions. While most research on backdoor attacks has focused on 2D vision tasks, their impact on 6DoF pose estimation remains largely unexplored. Furthermore, unlike traditional backdoors that only change the object class, backdoors against 6DoF pose estimation must additionally control continuous pose parameters, such as translation and rotation, making existing 2D backdoor attack methods not directly applicable to this setting. To address this gap, we propose a novel backdoor attack framework (6DAttack) that exposes vulnerabilities in 6DoF pose estimation. 6DAttack uses synthetic and real 3D objects of varying shapes as triggers and assigns target poses to induce controlled erroneous pose outputs while maintaining normal behavior on clean inputs. We evaluated this attack on multiple models (including PVNet, DenseFusion, and PoseDiffusion) and datasets (including LINEMOD, YCB-Video, and CO3D). Experimental results demonstrate that 6DAttack achieves extremely high attack success rates (ASRs) without compromising performance on legitimate tasks. Across various models and objects, the backdoored models achieve up to 100% ADD accuracy on clean data, while also achieving 100% ASR under trigger conditions. The accuracy of controlled erroneous pose output is also extremely high, with triggered samples achieving 97.70% ADD-P. These results demonstrate that the backdoor can be reliably implanted and activated, achieving a high ASR under trigger conditions while maintaining a negligible impact on benign data. Furthermore, we evaluate a representative defense and show that it remains ineffective under 6DAttack. Overall, our findings reveal a potentially serious and previously underexplored threat to modern 6DoF pose estimation models.

Generative models have recently gained attention in recommendation systems by directly predicting item identifiers from user interaction sequences. However, existing methods suffer from significant information loss due to the separation of stages such as quantization and sequence modeling, hindering their ability to achieve the modeling precision and accuracy of sequential dense retrieval techniques. Integrating generative and dense retrieval methods remains a critical challenge. To address this, we introduce the Cascaded Organized Bi-Represented generAtive retrieval (COBRA) framework, which innovatively integrates sparse semantic IDs and dense vectors through a cascading process. Our method alternates between generating these representations by first generating sparse IDs, which serve as conditions to aid in the generation of dense vectors. End-to-end training enables dynamic refinement of dense representations, capturing both semantic insights and collaborative signals from user-item interactions. During inference, COBRA employs a coarse-to-fine strategy, starting with sparse ID generation and refining them into dense vectors via the generative model. We further propose BeamFusion, an innovative approach combining beam search with nearest neighbor scores to enhance inference flexibility and recommendation diversity. Extensive experiments on public datasets and offline tests validate our method's robustness. Online A/B tests on a real-world advertising platform with over 200 million daily users demonstrate substantial improvements in key metrics, highlighting COBRA's practical advantages.

Beyond traditional binary relational facts, n-ary relational knowledge graphs (NKGs) are comprised of n-ary relational facts containing more than two entities, which are closer to real-world facts with broader applications. However, the construction of NKGs remains at a coarse-grained level, which is always in a single schema, ignoring the order and variable arity of entities. To address these restrictions, we propose Text2NKG, a novel fine-grained n-ary relation extraction framework for n-ary relational knowledge graph construction. We introduce a span-tuple classification approach with hetero-ordered merging and output merging to accomplish fine-grained n-ary relation extraction in different arity. Furthermore, Text2NKG supports four typical NKG schemas: hyper-relational schema, event-based schema, role-based schema, and hypergraph-based schema, with high flexibility and practicality. The experimental results demonstrate that Text2NKG achieves state-of-the-art performance in F1 scores on the fine-grained n-ary relation extraction benchmark. Complex query answering (CQA) is an essential task for multi-hop and logical reasoning on knowledge graphs (KGs). Currently, most approaches are limited to queries among binary relational facts and pay less attention to n-ary facts (n≥2) containing more than two entities, which are more prevalent in the real world. Moreover, previous CQA methods can only make predictions for a few given types of queries and cannot be flexibly extended to more complex logical queries, which significantly limits their applications. To overcome these challenges, in this work, we propose a novel N-ary Query Embedding (NQE) model for CQA over hyper-relational knowledge graphs (HKGs), which include massive n-ary facts. The NQE utilizes a dual-heterogeneous Transformer encoder and fuzzy logic theory to satisfy all n-ary FOL queries, including existential quantifiers (∃), conjunction (∧), disjunction (∨), and negation (¬). We also propose a parallel processing algorithm that can train or predict arbitrary n-ary FOL queries in a single batch, regardless of the kind of each query, with good flexibility and extensibility. In addition, we generate a new CQA dataset WD50K-NFOL, including diverse n-ary FOL queries over WD50K. Experimental results on WD50K-NFOL and other standard CQA datasets show that NQE is the state-of-the-art CQA method over HKGs with good generalization capability. Our code and dataset are publicly available.
