DNA sequences are prone to create secondary structures by folding back on non-specific hybridization among their nucleotides. The formation of secondary structures makes the sequences chemically inactive towards synthesis and sequencing processes. In this paper, we study the primer design by using w-constacyclic codes over F 4. We have presented families of DNA codes with secondary structures of stem length at most three. The GC-balanced and almost GC-balanced code is studied by using w-constacyclic shift over F 4. We prove that almost GC-balanced code is ( k + 2 ) -weakly mutually uncorrelated. Finally, we design the primers by utilizing an algorithm.

Reliable and faithful research is the cornerstone of breakthrough advancements and disruptive innovations. Assessing the credibility of scientific findings and claims in research publications has long been a time-consuming and challenging task for researchers and decision-makers. In this paper, we introduce RES - an intelligent system that assists humans in analyzing the credibility of scientific findings and claims in research publications in the field of social and behavioral sciences by estimating their replicability. The pipeline of RES consists of four major modules that perform feature extraction, replicability estimation, result explanation, and sentiment analysis respectively. Our evaluation based on human experts’ assessments suggests that the RES has achieved adequate performance. The RES is also built with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that is publicly accessible at https: //tamu-infolab. github. io/RES/.

We develop the theory for constructing DNA cyclic codes of odd length over R = Z 4 [ u ] / 〈 u 2 − 1 〉 based on the deletion distance. Cyclic codes of odd length over R satisfying the reverse constraint and the reverse-complement constraint are discussed. The GC-content of these codes and their deletion distance are studied. Among others, examples of cyclic DNA codes with GC-content and their respective deletion distance are provided.
